Cardious exhibited at the Heart Valve Summit conference in Chicago. Like the AATS in Boston in May, we met with cardiac surgeons, showed them our product, and heard their views on the future of less invasive aortic valve surgery. Every surgeon and cardiologist we talked to confirmed that the AVBG procedure would be a useful alternative for many patients that cannot safely withstand the rigors of traditional surgery.

Cardious exhibited at the American Association of Thoracic Surgeons (AATS) in Boston. This was be our first show! Even though we did not have a product for sale, we showed surgeons our system, asked surgeons to compare our procedure with apical transcatheter procedures, discussed our plans for human trials, and, of course, received their comments and suggestions on the product. We were definitely pleased with the amount of support we received from surgeons. Few asked why or what and many asked when and how much.
